Option #1: History & Architecture Walking Tour: (24 spots) 3 – 4:30 pm
Join Wilmington Walking Tours for a History and Architecture Tour. This is a 1 1/2 hour , 1 mile loop of Wilmington’s most historic neighborhoods, featuring the buildings and the people who lived in them. Your guide, Amanda will cover the Port, Railroad, Victorian Culture, our unique Civil War story and the events of 1898, economic downturn in the late 20th century and our comeback story! Amanda weaves preservation and architecture along the way for a unique Wilmington experience. This tour won the Tourism Award for 2024. *Depart Aloft Hotel lobby.
Option #2: Wilmington Water Tour (45 spots) 3:30 – 4:30 pm
Enjoy a relaxing ride on the river on a comfortable catamaran as you learn more about Wilmington, NC from the friendly captain and crew. Gain a new perspective on the area’s history and ecology as they share fun facts and historical anecdotes as we cruise along the Cape Fear River. *Pick-up and drop off at Conlon Pier, along the riverwalk, behind Embassy Suites.
