AIRPORT ROUNDTABLE

VANCOUVER, BC, CANADA (YVR)

September 11-13, 2023

This event is currently SOLD OUT! We are thrilled to see you the next Airport Roundtable Event of 2023, hosted by our friends at Vancouver International Airport, Destination Vancouver, Destination British Columbia & Vancouver Hotel & Destination Association in Vancouver, BC, Canada! The event will be held September 11-13.

So what is an Airport Roundtable?

This must-attend industry event allows aviation professionals to share ideas and concepts – primarily in the areas of marketing and air service development – however, no topic is off-limits. Participants interact with their airport counterparts and airline representatives in a relaxed atmosphere that encourages conversation, engagement, education, and relationship building.

The key element of our roundtables is the intimacy we can provide by limiting the group to about 45 participants. This includes paid registrants, airlines, and our sponsors. The goal is to provide an environment where we can all learn from each other. Countless great friendships and business relationships have been formed and built up over the years in this unique, and fun, forum.

The Airport Roundtable Series has hosted 60 successful events over the past decades. We’re thrilled to bring the event to Canada for the first time, allowing professionals from both Canada and the U.S. to network and learn together in this highly-rated forum. Be sure to secure your spot today!

Option #1: Flightseeing & FlyOver Canada

This sightseeing option starts off with a short 10min walk from the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver to the waterfront in Coal Harbour to the Harbour Air Seaplanes terminal where you will check in for a Vancouver Classic Panorama floatplane tour.

Harbour Air is the world’s largest all seaplane airline offering daily scheduled flights to locations around British Columbia, welcoming 500,00 passengers every year. With a strong commitment to Safety, Service and Comfort, Harbour Air works hard to ensure that every passenger experience is beyond their expectations and absolutely unforgettable.

Good to know: All flight services are completely carbon neutral and include high quality carbon offsets to mitigate future greenhouse gas emissions in British Columbia. Harbour Air has also developed and flew the first electric commercial aircraft in December 2019. The flight of the De Havilland Beaver seaplane soared into history books from Harbour Air’s terminal at Vancouver International Airport. The next step: electrifying the entire fleet of 40-plus seaplanes and setting another global standard for electric aviation. All in a day’s work for the humble seaplane service, which was founded 30 years ago with two small planes offering private charters to the forest industry.

Following the floatplane tour, you will visit FlyOver Canada, one of Vancouver’s top attractions. At its core, FlyOver Canada is a breathtaking, all-ages, flight simulation ride like no other! Using advanced technology, they have captured thrilling, authentic footage of real locations so riders can experience those places as they truly are. Located in downtown Vancouver’s Canada Place, FlyOver Canada whisks you away on an exhilarating journey over the world’s most spectacular scenery. Special effects — including wind, mist and scents — combine with the ride’s motion to create an unforgettable experience.
