AUSTRALASIA ROUNDTABLE 2026
LAUNCESTON (LST), TASMANIA, AUSTRALIA
10-12 JUNE, 2026
Ailevon Pacific Aviation Consulting is delighted to host the 2026 RoundTable, dedicated to destination marketing and route development across the Asia Pacific region. The event will take place in Launceston, Tasmania, from 10–12 June 2026, marking a decade of impactful industry collaboration. This event is brought to you by Launceston Airport, Tourism Tasmania and Business Events Tasmania.
The Australasian RoundTables are recognised as the most intimate and accessible marketing and route development gatherings for airports, destination marketing organisations, and other key stakeholders in the Southern Hemisphere. These events foster meaningful engagement by providing a setting where participants can interact directly with their industry peers and airline representatives. The environment is designed to encourage open conversation and facilitate constructive learning opportunities.
In 2026, as we celebrate our 10th anniversary, we are thrilled to return to Tasmania. Our last Tasmanian event was hosted in Hobart (HBA) in 2019, and we look forward to building on that success in Launceston (LST) in June 2026.
About the Roundtable:
At the RoundTable, we prioritise genuine industry dialogue over promotional activity. While our sponsors, Launceston Airport and their partners, are given a brief opportunity for a presentation, the remainder of the event is dedicated to airline perspectives. This focused approach allows airlines to share insights into current industry trends, outline their strategic plans, and discuss new service opportunities and growth potential, under Chatham House Rules.
Airline representatives benefit from the chance to articulate their interests in specific route types, detail the support structures they require, and provide information about fleet availability. This transparency means that when participants meet airlines at future network or route conferences, or during planned headquarter office meetings, they are well prepared to respond to airline needs.
Feedback from past Australasian RoundTables—including those held in 2016, 2018/2019, and 2022–2025—has been overwhelmingly positive. This strong endorsement has led to the event becoming an annual fixture, with the 2026 gathering delivered in partnership with the team at Launceston Airport. The RoundTables are carefully designed to foster constructive air service development conversations, benefiting clients, non-clients, and airline partners alike.
The industry lacks sufficient opportunities for knowledge sharing, relationship building, and refining the air service development process. Recognising this gap, we are committed to hosting at least one RoundTable each year. Attendees and airline partners consistently express appreciation for the event format, highlighting the value of hearing directly from airlines about their requirements.
Participants frequently gain unique insights from the event, whether through informal discussions with network planners or connecting with peers from other airports who have navigated similar challenges. To ensure meaningful interaction and engagement, attendance is capped at 40 participants. As a result, the RoundTable regularly sells out, underscoring its popularity and effectiveness.
