Ailevon Pacific Aviation Consulting (“APAC”) has facilitated for over 20 years Roundtable events in North America, and more recently in the last six years similar events in Australia. Spearheaded by APAC and together with Host Partners, this event has helped airports, tourism bodies and other stakeholders to develop effective aviation commercial strategies and lift their engagement with airlines.
A crucial member of the air service development team, or contributor to data insights for organisational executives is the aviation analytics team, and marketing executives or individuals tasked with collating, assessing and presenting aviation, traveller or visitor economy insights.
This Symposium is designed specifically as a collaborative, professional development and learning experience for these crucial members of any organisation in the aviation, tourism or travel sectors.
About the Symposium Roundtable
The principle behind it is to allow data & marketing team members at airports, tourism authorities & civic or government agencies a more intimate, structured interaction with data providers, airlines and other colleagues to improve aviation data analytics. Our goal is to create a specific tailored environment for these key team members to better understand more about how they can better collate, analyse & present data to their stakeholders internally, for the purposes of reporting or preparing data for presentations, supporting air service development outcomes or reporting of visitor economy data. The Symposium is designed to allow various data providers the opportunity to present to those gathered, to provide a better understand how their tools can be optimally used, how each can offer different or better ways to understand data compared to other sources and allow discussion between those assembled of the advantages or pitfalls in any single data source. Executives from selected airlines are asked to present to demonstrate the power of the data presented and why. Q&A sessions follow each presentation & is encouraged to enable a wider learning & personal development training outcome. A focus is placed on what might be “new” sources of data, or information that brings business cases to life!
The event over 1.5 days is designed as an engaging iterative experience, allowing individuals an opportunity to share challenges and learnings from one another in undertaking their respective roles, creating an organisational development opportunity in that employee being better informed & capable of delivering even better analysis for stakeholders. Sessions consist of presentations, moderated panels, case studies, & group discussions. For those new to the industry, an extended pre-conference program that includes Network Planning & Air Service Development 101 training, including insights into incentives and collaboratively bringing along & engaging stakeholders, is part of the offering.
